of the Music Teacher's Association of California, and has taught adult students at the college level,

Students can move beyond the basics of sight reading and technique, and can choose what type of music
they would like to pursue. Students may choose to focus on classical, blues, jazz scales & improvization,
or popular styles. Some students may choose to pursue a sampling of all styles,
like Pachebel's Canon in D, Dizzy Gillespie, along with some Guns and Roses.
The most personal instrument of all is the human voice, which can express
the deepest thoughts and feelings of the individual. To nurture this wonderful gift,
a singer must focus on breath control, vocal flexibility, proper placement & resonance,
and beautiful vowel sounds. This training can be achieved with daily strengthening
exercises, and an exploration of the greatest singing repertoire of our time.
